About This Home
Discover Zion from one of the last surviving farmsteads in the Virgin River valley. Built in 1924 in the same tradition as the original pioneer settlements, it dates to a time when the region was still agricultural and remote. It came of age alongside the WPA, John Steinbeck, and Edward Abbey. It was here before Zion became a destination and long before Saint George was developed.
Our home offers old western living with modern comforts woven in. Thoughtfully maintained without being overly polished, it's geared towards active guests who appreciate vintage homes with a few rough edges. It rewards those who want something real to feel and discover.
Inside, you'll find a roaring cast-iron gas stove, original pine floors, a canopy bed in the master bedroom, and cozy attic rooms upstairs. It is at its best with the windows open, evening breezes moving through the rooms.
Outside, enjoy wide open night skies and a fire pit beside our agave garden. Make s'mores, fire up the grill, and share dinner under mature pecan and fig trees — help yourself to whatever's in season. After a long day of hiking, biking, or climbing, sink into the swim spa, which works as both a huge hot tub and a rejuvenating plunge pool.
Our home is the perfect base for adventure groups, families, and anyone who finds romance in places with history and heart.
